Staff Wellbeing

At Pimlico, we are a close knit group of staff, who look out for each other and support each other. We strongly believe in supporting our excellent teachers so that they can teach the best lessons possible to our children. In our autumn survey, 100% of responders said staff are recognised for a job well done, and over 95% said they enjoy working with other staff in the school and that leaders care about their wellbeing.  We are mindful of their workload and ensure that policies, such as marking, are limited to reasonable amounts that will have maximum impact on pupils’ learning.

Our teachers benefit from excellent CPD, which is organised each week (and sometimes twice). This balances expert training on curriculum thinking and planning, alongside deliberate practice around classroom routines and evidence-based pedagogy. In our autumn staff survey, over 90% of our teachers responded that support for teaching and learning was positive.
