Latin

We teach Latin because it offers invaluable opportunities for learning about language and culture. Studying Latin reinforces English vocabulary and grammar, provides a structured approach to language learning, and lays the groundwork for learning other languages like Spanish and French. It also introduces students to cultural influences that are foundational to Western culture.

Our Latin program starts in KS2, with weekly lessons that focus on both spoken and written language. This helps children build strong reading comprehension skills and a deep appreciation for classical civilization.
