Inclusion

At our academy, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment where every student can thrive. We recognise that some students face unique challenges in their learning, and our Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) provision is designed to offer the right support for each child. 

We provide tailored support in all four key areas of SEND:

• Cognition and Learning: Helping students who find learning more challenging.
• Communication and Interaction: Supporting those who have difficulties with speech, language, or social interaction.
• Sensory and Physical: Assisting students with sensory impairments or physical disabilities.
• Social, Emotional, and Mental Health: Offering help to students who may struggle with emotional regulation or mental health issues. 

Our school SENDCO (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator) leads our efforts to support students with SEND. Additionally, our Trust employs a Head of SEND to oversee provision across Future Academies, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of care and support for all students.
