Art

Our art curriculum encourages a love for art by introducing children to major artistic movements and techniques. We teach them the vocabulary they need to discuss and appreciate art, and we give them the skills to create their own works. Children engage in various artistic activities like drawing, painting, sculpture, and textiles, building on previous learning and developing their personal artistic expression.

We also connect art with other subjects, such as studying ancient Egyptian designs in Year 3, to reinforce their understanding of history and culture.
