School Trips
Trips are a one of the highlights of every child’s time at Pimlico Primary. We've thoughtfully planned a variety of educational visits to spark children's enthusiasm for learning in every year group. These visits are planned to build pupils knowledge, skills, and understanding of the wider world carefully over their time with us.
Being in central London, we’re lucky to be close to renowned sites like the Houses of Parliament, Tate Britain, and Westminster Abbey. Just a short bus or tube ride away are other landmarks such as the Tower of London, the Natural History Museum, and the Science Museum.
We carefully time our visits to align with what students are studying, making their lessons more meaningful and exciting. We also invite guests to our school to share their experiences, including experts from Imperial College, leaders from various faiths, and well-known poets, for example.
We also want our students to develop a deep connection with nature. Every child at Pimlico Primary will experience activities like a three-day residential at Forest School (in Year 4) and a five day residential at Outward Bound (Year 5). Recent trips have also included visits to Loch Eil in Scotland and Aberdovey in Wales to take part in rock climbing, water activities and cooking over a campfire.
