Clubs and Activities
At Pimlico Primary, we believe every child should have the chance to join clubs that help them explore new interests in a fun and relaxed setting. Whether your child is interested in singing, sports, or learning a new skill, our clubs offer a great way to try something new or dive deeper into a hobby they love.
The clubs that we run change from term to term, in line with the interests of the children. We aim to provide around twenty activities a week on offer. We are lucky to have not only a wonderful teaching staff with many additional skills, but partnerships with Greenhouse Sports, Pimlico Musical Foundation, Plunderers Cricket and Westminster School to offer a choir as well as clubs for art, drama, multi-sports, cricket, chess, geometry, cross stitch and crochet. Clubs are tailored to Key Stage 1 or 2.
We provide breakfast clubs and after-school homework clubs to support working parents or those on pupil premium. In the holidays, we offer Easter and summer holiday clubs in partnership with our sister schools within Future Academies.
During the spring and summer holidays, as well as some half-terms, we offer free sports clubs for children in Key Stage 2. These clubs give our older students a chance to improve their skills in different sports, enjoy time outdoors with friends, and build teamwork and communication skills. We run these clubs with our sister primary school, giving students the chance to meet others in the area who they might go to secondary school with later on.
We encourage all children to take part in our wide range of clubs, especially those who might need a little extra support to get involved in new and unfamiliar activities, because they’re a great way to discover new talents, make friends, and have fun!
